Thesis Title: Complex Problem Solving through Cognitive Engagement
About
I work at Griffith University Australia. My main interests are in three areas: Complex Problem Structuring and in particular how planning and thinking impact the way we solve our problems (i.e. operational planning, problem modelling and strategic decision making), Management Issues with Enterprise Resource planning such as training and feral information systems, and using blended learning strategies in higher education.
My main passion is thinking about how our cognitive models (thinking patterns) effect the way we solve our problems and make decisions. I think this is very interesting because most of what we do as humans comes down to how we think and the reasons we act.
