About
Adele Pavlidis is a doctoral candidate working on an interdisciplinary project at Griffith University. Her project examines the sport of roller derby and takes an in-depth look at what this sport makes possible in the lives of the women who play it. She is particularly interested in notions of belonging and in the way roller derby players position themselves as 'tough women'.
